Italian bottle cap manufacturer Guala invested 200 million yuan in Qionglai, Chengdu, focusing on the production of luxury wine bottle caps

On August 25, the Italian special bottle cap manufacturer Guala Closures, jointly controlled by Italian private equity fund Investindustrial and Sino Italian industrial cooperation funds, announced the establishment of a new factory and R&D center in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and formulated an investment plan focusing on the production of luxury Wine Bottle Caps.

The new factory and R&D center are located in Qionglai City, subordinate to Chengdu, a famous liquor producing area in China. It is positioned as a "world-class factory meeting the needs of China's liquor market", focusing on manufacturing high-end and luxury liquor bottle caps. It plans to produce about 130 million bottle caps every year. The new factory is expected to cover an area of 13800 square meters, employ 110 employees, and invest 200 million yuan.
